Ten minutes with Mandy

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to perseverance and the people who have supported me throughout my journey. Having a strong support system whether through mentors who provide guidance or colleagues, friends, and family who offer encouragement has been invaluable. Equally important has been the ability to embrace setbacks, adapt when things don't go according to plan, and remain resilient in the face of challenges. Success is rarely a straight path, and my willingness to learn, pivot, and keep moving forward has been instrumental in achieving both my personal and professional goals.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the insurance industry is to be willing to invest the time and effort required to build a successful career, even if that means starting at a level below your initial expectations. Success rarely happens overnight, and every role provides valuable experience and opportunities for growth. As the insurance industry continues to evolve alongside advances in technology and changing financial markets, remain committed to learning, adapting, and identifying where your strengths can make the greatest impact. Many successful women have advanced by embracing change, staying resilient, and consistently focusing on the next opportunity for growth.
