Manvi Raghupatruni

Manvi Raghupatruni is an accomplished educator with nearly a decade of experience dedicated to empowering students through intentional instruction, meaningful relationships, and academic excellence. Currently serving as a teacher at Trinity Basin Preparatory in Arlington, she teaches multiple subjects, including two state-tested areas, while managing a demanding four-prep schedule. Although she has been officially in the education field for eight to nine years, Manvi views teaching as a lifelong calling inspired by her immigrant parents, who instilled in her a deep appreciation for education, perseverance, and service. Her passion for helping students succeed extends beyond academics, as she is committed to supporting their social and emotional growth while creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.

Manvi's academic journey reflects her strong foundation in science and analytical thinking. She earned her undergraduate degree from Emory University in Atlanta before completing a master's degree in genomics at Washington University (WashU). She later pursued doctoral studies in evolutionary genetics, an experience that strengthened her expertise in problem-solving, critical thinking, and scientific inquiry. While she ultimately chose to transition from research to education, the skills she developed continue to shape her teaching philosophy, enabling her to help students think critically and develop confidence in their own abilities. Her background in science education allows her to bring real-world relevance and curiosity into the classroom.

Beyond her classroom responsibilities, Manvi is passionate about leadership, mentorship, and educational innovation. She mentors first-year teachers, values collaboration with supportive colleagues and school communities, and is preparing to transition into a director-level leadership role where she hopes to coach educators and influence school-wide success. Looking ahead, she also aspires to contribute to curriculum development in science, social studies, and other core subjects. Guided by mentors such as Dr. Beth Wiggs and Ebony Davis, Manvi remains committed to lifelong learning, servant leadership, and fostering educational environments where both students and educators can thrive.
