About Mara
She is a special education, middle school science, differentiated instruction, and classroom support professional with experience in co-teaching, student accommodations, classroom management, lesson planning, positive reinforcement, student assessment, and youth programming. She currently serves as a Special Education Co-teacher for 7th and 8th grade science at Corkran Middle School. Her background includes student teaching and practicum experience in special education and elementary education, supported by degrees in special education and interdisciplinary studies from Old Dominion University.
