Her Interview
Ten minutes with Marcela
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my parents. My family comes from advertising and they really inspire me to be more like them. When I saw them growing up, it was something that I wanted to do. I feel like it's something that inspires me, how they're living and how peaceful they are. I want to be just like them and give back to my family as well.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My best advice would be to be genuine. If you are fun, show how fun you are. People love to see new ideas, love to see different personalities in the field in advertising and marketing. Companies look for someone that thinks different. If you think you're fun, your ideas are good, just express them. Don't try to fit in like what everyone else is, just try to be yourself, because that's what gets you in this world.
