Her Story
About Marchelle
Marchelle Cooper is a retired farmer based in the Dallas, Texas area. She worked on her family's farm, established by her grandmother Alice Hooper on 100 acres, where they planted pecan trees, produced hay, and grew heirloom vegetables including tomatoes and potatoes. After moving to Texas in 1991, Cooper attended Richland College in Dallas and completed studies in computer programming and desktop publishing at Texas A&M in 1983. She is currently completing a degree in Human Resources and Business Management at Southern New Hampshire University, with graduation planned for December, after which she intends to pursue onboarding consulting. Cooper attributes her lifelong commitment to education and professional growth to the influence of her mother and grandmother. In her free time, she volunteers with the Network organization in Richardson, Texas, which operates a food and clothing bank along with a seniors volunteer center.

01What do you attribute your success to?
My mother was very educational, and my grandmother was too. I started school at a young age and have been in school pretty much my whole life. I love school.
