Her Interview

Ten minutes with Marcie

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to staying in the field for so long with an old-fashioned work ethic, clearly understanding my goals, staying focused, and limiting distractions.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Don't be intimidated, especially because this is such a male-dominated field. Stay focused and driven and don't be intimidated. Degrees don't mean much; focus on what's most important.

03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I really believe in being ethical and honest, and that has served me well, especially when delivering tough messages to leadership or clients. Understanding there's a greater good, even if it's inconvenient, and stepping out for an optimal outcome.
