About Margaret
I moved to Chicago, Illinois in 2019 from Scottsdale, Arizona, where I was born and raised. I went to DePaul College of Law here in Chicago and graduated in 2022. I started my legal career in a boutique commercial real estate firm, and now I'm working at Catton. I'm on the real estate investment and finance group, but I do a little bit of everything commercial real estate - acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and lease work. Both of my parents were originally from the Chicagoland area, so a majority of my family is out here, and it's been nice to be close to them again after growing up in Arizona. I really like it out here in the Chicagoland area and think I'm going to stay. I'm also a commissioner on the Park Ridge zoning board of appeals, which is a volunteer position. My goal for the next four to five years is to make partner at my firm.

01What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I think it's really important that we all support each other across different fields. I definitely want to network and get to know other influential women, and the more we can all support each other across different fields, I think that's really important.
