Margie Flores is an Innovation Coordinator at the Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association in Orlando, Florida, bringing four years of experience in real estate association operations, membership management, and marketing. In her role, she manages affiliate invoicing, supports sponsorship administration, coordinates networking events, develops social media content and promotional flyers, and organizes and audits data using Excel spreadsheets. Her work reflects a strong ability to combine organization, creativity, communication, and operational support to advance the association’s initiatives and strengthen engagement within the real estate community.
Before entering the real estate association industry, Margie built a foundation in hospitality and customer service, where she developed strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Seeking greater stability and a more consistent career path, she accepted an opportunity through a temporary staffing agency that ultimately led to her current position. She has since continued to grow professionally, earning her Gold Key certification in real estate and engaging with the Hispanic Chambers of Commerce. Through her work, she remains committed to supporting professional networking, community connection, and the continued growth of the real estate industry.
Margie attributes her success to persistence, consistency, and the belief that hard work ultimately pays off. She believes in showing up each day, remaining committed to her goals, and continuing forward even when the path is challenging. Her determination is also deeply motivated by her desire to set a strong example for her two daughters, demonstrating the value of resilience, dedication, and perseverance. 01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to perseverance, consistency, and a commitment to never giving up. Even when circumstances appear uncertain or success seems out of reach, I believe in continuing to move forward and trusting that hard work will ultimately pay off. Showing up every day, remaining dedicated to my goals, and staying the course through challenges have been essential to my growth and achievements.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have ever received is to keep going and never give up. Even when things seem unlikely to work out, consistent effort and perseverance can ultimately lead to success. Hard work does pay off, but you have to be willing to show up every day, remain committed to your goals, and keep moving forward even when the path becomes difficult.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Creativity, curiosity, and a passion for creating are among the values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life. I find great fulfillment in expressing myself through art, whether through painting, coloring, reading, or transforming everyday objects into something new. I especially enjoy restoring broken or forgotten items, such as refurbishing an old coffee table and giving it a renewed purpose. For me, creativity is not only a personal passion but also a way of seeing potential, embracing transformation, and finding beauty in the opportunity to create something meaningful from what others may overlook.
