Margo Helaire-Conner, LPC, NCC, is a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor with a deep commitment to supporting the emotional and mental well-being of children, adolescents, and families. She currently serves as a Professional Counselor at Northshore Children’s Counseling, where she provides individualized care and evidence-based interventions tailored to meet each client’s unique needs. With her calm and empathetic approach, Margo creates a safe and nurturing space for healing and growth.

In addition to her private practice work, Margo serves as a Mental Health Provider for the St. Tammany Parish Public School System, where she collaborates with educators and families to ensure students receive the social-emotional support they need to thrive academically and personally. She also works part-time as a therapist at a behavioral hospital, where she offers clinical support to individuals navigating complex emotional and behavioral challenges. Her diverse experience across settings reflects her dedication to helping others at every stage of life.

Margo earned her Master of Arts in Counselor Education/School Counseling and Guidance Services from American Military University, graduating with a perfect 4.0 GPA. Beyond her professional life, she finds balance and inspiration through her love for the beach and staying active through regular workouts. Her passion for wellness—both mental and physical—guides her holistic approach to counseling and her belief that every person has the strength to heal, grow, and find peace.
