About Maria
I am so passionate about and grateful for being in healthcare, specifically around population and community health. My work has involved many aspects including operations, strategy, developing programs, and bringing in funds through various means like revenue cycle, grants, and foundations. I've worked with multidisciplinary teams of clinicians, leaders, and frontline folks to care for people from all walks of life and backgrounds in the thriving environment of New York City. I've had the privilege of working at New York Presbyterian Hospital, a huge system in the country, as well as NYU School of Medicine working with students and residents, and in city environments working in community health programs. One of my proudest achievements was overseeing the Infectious Diseases Program for 17 years at New York Presbyterian outpatient setting for pediatrics, adolescents, and adults including geriatrics, growing that program from 400 patients and 40 staff to about 5,000 patients and 150 staff. We became one of the premier programs in New York City with a portfolio of about $6 million in funds. In my latest role prior to pivoting, I was the Director of Business Administration for the Division of Community and Population Health at New York Presbyterian, where I worked on aligning systems for legal processing, data analytics, evaluation, and administrative processes across 60 programs around the tri-state area. After my role was dissolved during healthcare industry restructuring, I took a pause to care for my mom who has Lewy Body Dementia and to reflect on my contributions. I launched Arden Impact Consulting in November 2025 to use my expertise and experiences in operational excellence, project management, compliance, quality processes, and grants management to support various entities, individuals, academic organizations, community-based organizations, and clinics.
