About Maria
Maria Gonzalez serves as a Coach and Trainer at UC Davis, specializing in high-fidelity wraparound. With 20 years in the Human Services field, she began her career as a caregiver for a child with a disability, which required only a high school diploma at the time. Motivated to advance, she pursued higher education over the past 10 years, earning a Bachelor's in Business Administration and a Master's in Organizational Leadership. She is also peer certified through CalMesa and holds certifications in coaching and financial coaching. In her current role, Maria provides technical assistance to counties across California, helping them become certified to deliver high-fidelity wraparound services to families, along with training and support for behavioral health staff. She is involved with the Epilepsy Foundation and attributes her drive to addressing injustice, while valuing persistence and hope as key to career success.

01What do you attribute your success to?
When I see injustice, it's what gears me forward and gives me that spark. So it's always, you know, if I see any injustice, that's what really advised me to help others.
