Maria Hoewischer

Maria Hoewischer is a Master Certified Farm Specialist and Insurance Specialist at America’s Trusted Insurance Group, where she has built a career focused on serving the unique insurance needs of farmers and agricultural operations. Based in Urbana, Ohio, Maria draws on her extensive background in farming and agriculture to help clients navigate the complexities of farm insurance. Her experience also includes office and service management, customer service, sales, administrative operations, and accounting, giving her a well-rounded perspective on business and client relationships.

Maria studied Agriculture Education at The Ohio State University, where she spent four years preparing for a career in teaching and completing her student teaching. After college, she dedicated 15 years to raising her family before returning to the workforce. She subsequently gained experience in education, automotive service, office management, and school transportation before entering the insurance industry. Her transition into farm insurance grew naturally from her own experience with farming and her need for specialized insurance coverage, ultimately leading her to discover a professional niche where her agricultural knowledge and ability to connect with people could make a meaningful difference.

Beyond her professional work, Maria remains deeply connected to farming, family, and her rural Ohio roots. She grew up farming alongside her father and continues to care for animals, maintain a large garden, and stay actively involved in the agricultural community. She supports 4-H and FFA programs, attends county fairs, encourages young people participating in livestock shows, and contributes to community events. Maria believes in continuous learning, mentorship, building trust, and developing genuine relationships with clients. Her commitment to agriculture and her desire to help others have allowed her to establish a respected career while remaining closely connected to the farming community she considers part of her identity.
