About Maria
My connection with the school began in 1996 when I attended as a student after moving from Colombia. I graduated and returned in 2007 as a part-time adjunct professor, becoming full-time in 2008. I progressed to full professor, department leader in 2013, and Dean in 2021. I lead seven departments, focus on enrollment growth, new program development, faculty excellence, and student support, which is the most rewarding part of my role.
