Her Story
About Maria
On the 29th of 2015, I had a dream where God told me I was going to be His soldier, and we were going to change humanity, or the world, and unite it through religion and science. At the time, I wasn't even going to church - I was spiritual, but I wasn't that dedicated, and I argued with him because I was like, wait a minute, there's a lot more qualified people. I know nothing about science, I don't know nothing about religion. But after 5 days of arguing with him, I finally said, okay, God, whatever you say, I'll do, and that started my journey. He mentioned in that dream that my son was going to be a big catalyst that was going to ignite it. And lo and behold, if it didn't come to pass, because my son passed away in September 2024 from a rare form of cancer. In July of 2025, I started coming out of the grief because of mentors I've had in the past, and I spent a decade in self-development. I reached out to one of my mentors, became part of his community, and one thing led to another - Jeremy's Unity Flight was created. Five days after I decided to come out of the grief, my son came to me and told me, Mom, this has got to stop. I'm good, I'm happy. Get out there and live, and remember the dream. And the minute he said that, it ignited everything. Now I do my '3 a Days' - a third of the day I spend on self-care doing exercises or walking 6,000 to 10,000 steps, listening to gospel and devotionals. Another third of the day I do income-producing activities for my coaching business or my network marketing business in health and wellness. The last third of the day, I do my social media and anything operational for Jeremy's Unity Flight. My biggest achievement has been overcoming the fear of being in front of a camera at 64 and actually launching my podcast. I've been in the fire, for sure, but God has made us in such a way where we're able to navigate the biggest grief ever in the planet, alongside with the massive joy ever.

Ten minutes with Maria
01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Never ever quit. Always, never ever quit. That's the best advice you could ever have. When God puts something in your heart, in your mind, it's because it's doable. And if you keep searching for the answers, you will always find them.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Enjoy the process. Perfection is not the answer. Progress is the process. And if you can learn to enjoy the process, everything else is operational.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge I'm facing right now is my financial situation. I'm in the process of working on getting the funding for everything I'm working on. I'm in a situation right this minute where I am overextended. I'm living on disability, and I keep it real. It doesn't mean that next month I'll be in this situation, but right this minute, that's where I'm at. So I made a vow that I would not engage in anything else right this month until things kind of do a flip.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The biggest values to me are honesty, authenticity, and of course, family is huge to me. God first. Family, and then authenticity, and honesty, and caring for each other. Yes, loving each other.
