Her Interview

Ten minutes with Maria

01What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

I think it's a generational thing, but it is a completely different mentality with people right now coming out of school and coming out of training. They're looking for something different. And so, you know, we have to be able to work with that. It's just non-traditional.

02What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I always believe that you should be open to new opportunities at the same time as well. I feel that, you know, kind of that energetic openness of, you know, you never know where things are going to take you. So I'm always open to new ideas and opportunities. I also love the opportunity to give back. I often have people reaching out to me, asking, you know, they're younger in their career, looking for, you know, mentorship and help and connections and things like that, so I love doing that sort of thing.
