Her Story
About Maria
I'm originally a corporate attorney with a master's in corporate law, but I've spent the last 6 years building my career in the retail industry. I've had a few businesses - first, I opened a shipping company, which I sold. Then I opened a jewelry company, which I also sold, and my most notable professional achievement was selling that company in 18 months having invested $0. Now I'm in the process of opening a second jewelry company called Romeo Diamonds. My main areas of expertise are understanding human psychology and how that applies to retail and trends. I would say I'm a very strong salesperson, and I think I'm a very relatable, down-to-earth, hustling single mom. I'm really passionate about work - it's something that makes me happy. When I'm not working, I like to spend time with my children and have fun with them. I also like to build new companies and research new products.
