What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to consistency, financial discipline, and a commitment to educating entrepreneurs. Bookkeeping is more than numbers—it’s a foundation for informed decision-making and long-term success. Using my expertise to empower others has been key to my growth and leadership.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
A friend reminded me that fear often exaggerates the consequences. When I learned that the worst outcome was usually just hearing “no,” I started saying yes to opportunities—and that made all the difference.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Surround yourself with people who want to see you grow, invest in your education, and don’t underestimate the value of your skills. Confidence comes from competence—learn the fundamentals, trust your voice, and believe that you belong at the table.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in bookkeeping and small business support is closing the financial literacy gap — many entrepreneurs have passion and vision but lack the confidence that comes from truly understanding their numbers. At the same time, this creates a massive opportunity: by offering accessible education and tools, we can empower more business owners to make informed decisions, sustainably grow, and build resilience.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity, service, and accountability are the values that guide both my work and personal life. I believe in doing what’s right, being dependable, and using my skills to create meaningful impact for others.
