About Maria
Maria Rocha is a Pastor who leads a small chapel and ministers to individuals in rehabilitation, hospitals and nursing facilities.
She also serves as a hospice chaplain and bereavement coordinator and counselor, offering spiritual support and counseling in end-of-life settings. Her work extends to volunteering with the Alzheimer's Association & NAMI, advocatung for the local elderly and seniors, also upporting Blessed Union Ministry International, and Teresa's Home for Children, an orphanage in India, where she and her co-pastor minister to the elderly and orphaned children. Rocha attributes her success and drive to her faith, noting that God's hand has guided her through good, bad, and difficult times, looking forward to what lies ahead.
She encourages young women in her industry not to panic and to recognize that everything will fall into place, according to God's promises.

01What do you attribute your success to?
IKnowing that Christs hand has always been upon my life, protecting and guiding me...not into perfection but to His will.
Knowing that despite lifes trials, there IS a light at the end of the tunnel....
Scripture says your latter days will be better than your former days.- my gosh, I can't wait to see what else He has in store for me.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
" Ya gotta love what you do!"
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Allow God to guide and direct you. When you do, if it is His will, erything will fall into place. You will never have to wonder if youre in the right place.
Take time to enjoy life, and enjoy the silly, enjoy the raindrops, enjoy the puddles in the process!
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
My high standards - and that I hold others in this industry to a high standard as well as my own passion for ideal care of others, it can easily become a challenge but none the less an opportunity for growth as well as a learning opportunity.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Honoring God-being an extension of His love and compassion.
