What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have ever received is simply not to give up. That guidance has stayed with me throughout my professional journey and has been a steady foundation during both challenges and periods of growth. It has reminded me to stay persistent, adaptable, and committed even when circumstances are difficult or uncertain. Over time, that mindset has not only kept me moving forward but has also shaped the way I approach my work, my clients, and long-term career development.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Right now, my interest is a lot in AI, because that's changing everything. Even for us in tax preparation, as well as tax strategy, AI is helping to eliminate a little bit more of the work and helping out to organize even the customers. It's really transforming how we do things.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are service to others, continuous growth, and embracing challenges. I am genuinely motivated by helping people, and that sense of purpose has consistently guided the direction of my career. I also value challenges, as they push me to think critically, expand my skills, and grow both professionally and personally. Over time, I have learned to actively seek out complex situations because they allow me to contribute in more meaningful ways while strengthening my expertise.
