01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to staying informed with all trends, reading up on everything, keeping my ear to the ground, embracing change, staying positive, and never giving up by sticking my neck out there and trying.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I have received is to embrace change and be positive about anything that's changing, especially in the logistics industry where things fluctuate.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would advise young women entering the industry to have patience and diligence. As long as you are doing great work and satisfying your customers, the rewards will come your way.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

There are lots of opportunities in imports, brokerage, and trucking. This industry will never dry up as we will always need trucks, imports, and attention to vessel sailings, routes, and weather impacts like the Panama Canal.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity is key for me. Doing right by other people always comes back around as a blessing. I focus on looking out for people, helping people, and treating everyone with respect so that both truckers and shippers get a great customer experience.
