With approximately eight years of professional experience, including five years in transportation and logistics, she oversees critical business functions including dispatch operations, fleet coordination, safety and compliance, human resources, billing communications, customer relations, and team performance. Known for her ability to create structure in fast-paced environments, Mariana works across departments to improve operational efficiency, strengthen communication, and support sustainable business growth.
Originally beginning her career in hospitality and later gaining experience in construction and recruiting, Mariana's professional journey reflects a commitment to continuous learning and personal growth. After immigrating to the United States, she embraced new opportunities, adapted to unfamiliar industries, and steadily advanced into leadership roles. Her diverse background has given her a unique perspective on people management, customer service, problem-solving, and organizational development. 01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the example of hard work that my parents set for me from an early age. Their work ethic taught me the value of determination, perseverance, and never giving up, even when faced with challenges. I also believe that having a strong support system is invaluable—one truly supportive friend can make a greater difference than having many acquaintances.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received has come from the people who have supported me throughout my life. They taught me the importance of hard work, perseverance, integrity, and resilience, while also reminding me that success is never achieved alone. I’ve learned that strong relationships, honest communication, mutual respect, and a willingness to learn from others are some of the greatest assets you can have in both your career and your life.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice would be to never be afraid to step through new doors and embrace opportunities, even when they feel challenging or uncertain. Rather than focusing on the problem, focus on what you can do next to move forward. Every experience—whether it leads to success or presents obstacles—is a valuable learning opportunity that helps you grow both personally and professionally.

The transportation and logistics industry is evolving rapidly, creating both challenges and exciting opportunities. I believe success in this environment requires adaptability, continuous learning, and a commitment to improving both people and processes. As customer expectations rise, regulations evolve, and technology continues to reshape operations, organizations that embrace change will be best positioned for long-term growth. Throughout my career, I have viewed challenges as opportunities to strengthen systems, develop teams, and improve efficiency. Looking ahead, I see tremendous potential in leadership development, employee training, and process standardization. By investing in people, fostering collaboration, and providing teams with the tools and guidance they need to succeed, organizations can create more productive, engaged, and resilient workplaces while driving lasting operational excellence.

The values that are most important to me are authenticity, honesty, and staying true to who I am. I believe in leading and living with integrity, being genuine in my relationships, and communicating with honesty and transparency. Family is also one of my core values, providing both the foundation and support that guide my personal and professional decisions.
