About Mariana
Mariana Wentland serves as Senior Sales Trainer at Cover My Meds, a role she began on January 5, 2024. In this position, she designs and facilitates learning experiences aimed at helping commercial teams develop consultative selling skills, build confidence, and better serve their customers through workshops, training initiatives, and other programs aligned with business priorities. With nearly 15 years of experience in learning and development, Mariana brings perspective from her earlier career path that included customer service roles, individual contributor positions, and team leadership at Fortune 100 companies in sales and customer service. She works cross-functionally with sales, account management, and other customer-facing groups on onboarding, continued training, conference preparation, and the creation of reference guides, workbooks, and playbooks. Mariana is passionate about helping individuals and teams grow, drawing on her own experiences to relate to those she supports and foster skill development and performance improvement.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Stay true to yourself and don't wait until you feel 100% ready. Stretch beyond your comfort zone because growth often happens before confidence shows up. Stay genuinely curious, ask questions, seek feedback, and be willing to learn from everyone around you. Your unique perspective, experiences, and personality are your greatest strengths, so develop your skills but don't lose yourself in the process.
