01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my ability to relate to people, read the room, and remain personable in every interaction. Building trust with clients, especially during stressful situations, has been essential throughout my career. I also pride myself on being reliable and approachable, which allows me to develop strong relationships and provide the level of service my clients deserve.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have ever received is to never sell myself short. I have learned not to assume I am unqualified simply because someone else may appear to have more experience. Employers recognize dedication, work ethic, and potential, so believing in my abilities and pursuing opportunities with confidence has been invaluable throughout my career.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice is to thoroughly research both the insurance industry and the company before every interview. Arrive prepared, demonstrate that you understand the organization, and show your determination and willingness to learn. Knowledge, preparation, and confidence can set you apart and create opportunities for long-term success.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in the insurance industry is managing the impact of rising insurance rates while helping clients understand changing market conditions. I see tremendous opportunity as more women enter insurance sales and client service roles, bringing diverse perspectives and helping reshape the industry for the future.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me are building strong relationships, maintaining open communication, and being personable and relatable.
