Her Interview

Ten minutes with Marianne

01What do you attribute your success to?

I have a lot of folks that are the wind beneath my sails. I have a great team that's behind me, and by team, I mean, like, you know, family and friends that are supportive of me, that I very much lean on during hard times, because, you know, in sales, there are going to be a lot of hard times, so it's very important to have, you know, people that you can fall back on and talk to and, you know, get support with and everything.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

You never know what you could do. You should always open up yourself to new experiences based on what you are good at. Sometimes you never know where life is gonna take you, and it's important to keep your eyes and your mind and heart open to it.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Knowledge is power. Sales can be male-dominant but has evened out over the years. Women have a certain touch that can be quite advantageous in male-dominated industries.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The economics of it all. Making sure to balance out everybody's needs and everybody's wants while being fiscally responsible.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The relationships that we build, making sure that every person that we meet along the way we keep along the way, valuing those relationships, and building those relationships and maintaining them. On the professional front, building the best customer experiences ever, making sure that the customer has a happy and healthy experience every step of the way.
