Maribel Collazo

Maribel Collazo is a human resources professional with extensive experience in talent acquisition, where she sources and hires candidates from entry-level to senior positions while ensuring fair and equitable compensation offers. She holds a Master's of Education in Integrated Studies with a concentration in business from Cambridge College, earned in 1998, and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Speech Communications from McAllister College. Collazo is AIRS CDR certified and holds a certification from Cornell University on Diversity and Inclusion. During her tenure at GSA, she was nominated as the Regional Diversity Champion for hiring the most diverse candidates for senior-level positions. She is an active member of several professional organizations, including a Latino professional network, the Boston Human Resources Council, the New England Human Resources Association (NERA), and ALFA (Association of Latinos and Professionals), where she volunteered at the convention. Collazo attributes her success to giving people the benefit of the doubt, asking the right questions, collaborating with coworkers, and educating herself through organizations and conferences, including those focused on artificial intelligence.
