About Maricel
Maricel Roberts brings more than 25 years of progressive leadership experience across healthcare and industrial manufacturing. After graduating with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing, she began her career in cardiac critical care and surgical intensive care nursing, advancing to management roles at large academic teaching hospitals. In 2000, she transitioned to industry at Siemens Healthineers, where she led the North American healthcare solutions team in consultative sales of laboratory instrumentation. She later expanded her operational scope at the vice president level, managing quality, finance, R&D, product development, manufacturing, sales, and service before taking a hiatus in 2023. In December 2024, she entered the CNC machining sector, applying her skills in organizational leadership and human capital management to drive purpose, create employer-of-choice environments, and support organizational vision. Roberts holds a Lean certification from the University of Michigan and attributes her success to her deep Catholic faith, which guides her use of God-given talents to help others succeed while treating people with kindness and dignity.

01What do you attribute your success to?
My deep Catholic faith is my center and north star. God has given me gifts and talents that I use to help others succeed without wasting them.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Understand what drives and motivates you, find a mentor, order your life prioritizing family over work, set boundaries like not sending emails after business hours, and find a job that allows you to do the things you love outside of work.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Treating people with kindness and dignity, looking at others without judgment especially when they may be dealing with trauma, and controlling only my own behavior.
