About Marie
I began my career in banking right out of college, starting as a customer service representative and steadily advancing through the ranks over 25 years. I managed branch offices for many years and worked for different banks in various roles, ultimately becoming a community president for Waterstone Bank. About 8-9 years ago, I transitioned into the financial technology sector, joining FIS, a company that builds financial systems primarily for banks and credit unions, though we also serve other companies that purchase our financial software and systems. I started in client services and have worked my way up to my current position as a client success manager. My typical day is filled with meetings, mostly virtual since I work from home, where I connect with my clients both internally and externally. I do travel to visit clients a couple times a year. I love what I do now and plan to continue in this role for the foreseeable future, as I really enjoy working with my clients and don't have an interest in managing other people at this point in my life.
