Her Interview

Ten minutes with Marie

01What do you attribute your success to?

I would say just my willpower to not giving up. Not giving up on myself. My family continued to be a driving force for me, encouraging me even when there are challenges or hurdles that are in the way, that doesn't mean you have to stop there.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I think for anyone interested in entering business intelligence or data analytics, focus on both the technical skills and the business understanding. Being able to understand the business problem, ask the right questions, and communicate insights effectively is just as valuable. Always believe strongly in continuous learning because technology changes so quickly. Don't wait until you feel completely qualified before pursuing an opportunity. Start building your skills, stay curious, and understand there are many different paths into this industry.
