About Mariely

Mariely Rodriguez is the CEO, Co-Owner, and Operations Manager of CRB Hospitality, a premier hospitality staffing agency serving hotels and restaurants throughout Central Florida. Armed with a bachelor's degree in economics with a concentration in operations from the Dominican Republic, Mariely’s rise in the industry is a powerful story of perseverance. She began her career 13 years ago performing entry-level tasks, including clearing tables and cleaning floors at the very hotel group she now helps lead. Driven by an unwavering work ethic, passion, and a belief that nothing is impossible, she advanced through the ranks to acquire a 50 percent ownership stake in 2017. Today, she oversees a workforce of 400 employees, maintains strong client relationships, and remains active in key organizations like the Central Florida Hotel and Lodging Association (CFHLA) and the Association of Ladies in Hospitality (ALOHA).

Known for her hands-on leadership and problem-solving mindset, Mariely balances high-level executive strategy with personal involvement in daily operations. Whether conducting spontaneous performance checks at client properties or attending local civic events, she prioritizes employee appreciation and community engagement, maintaining that her workforce is the foundation of CRB’s success. She remains dedicated to operational excellence and continuous communication, ensuring that clients receive top-tier service tailored to their unique needs.

Beyond her professional achievements, Mariely approaches her personal life with the same energy and dedication she brings to business. A devoted mother to a 12-year-old daughter and 10-year-old son, she loves spending quality family time visiting water parks, going roller skating, and playing at Topgolf. Fitness is a core part of her daily routine, keeping her grounded with a daily weekday strength training regimen at the gym. An avid traveler, Mariely explores the world through four dedicated annual trips shared with her children, her mother, her boyfriend, and her best friend.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Mariely

01What do you attribute your success to?

My success comes down to an unrelenting persistence and the belief that nothing is impossible. Every morning, I wake up driven by the vision that no matter how difficult a situation appears, there is always a way to resolve it. I am living proof that you can be a devoted mother, a strong business leader, and effectively guide a large team to great heights. When you truly love what you do and approach your work with genuine passion and purpose,

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice came when I joined a professional group and connected with a mentor who told me, "You already have everything you need inside you to build great relationships." That simple encouragement shifted my perspective completely. By trusting in my ability to connect authentically with others and nurturing those industry connections over time, I was able to build a recognized, respected presence in the hospitality field.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would tell young women to stay deeply responsible, never give up, and stay fiercely attached to their purpose. No matter how overwhelming a challenge may seem in the moment, remember that there is always a solution waiting to be found. If you show up with dedication, hold fast to your "why," and refuse to let obstacles stand in your way, you will build a resilient career that you are truly proud of.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Managing a workforce of 400 employees means that every single day brings something brand new, making adaptability both our greatest challenge and our greatest opportunity. The key to navigating this dynamic environment is keeping operations under control without letting emotions dictate decision-making. Leading with composure and a steady hand allows us to transform daily unpredictability into continuous growth and consistent quality.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Family is my absolute highest value—they are my foundation, my teacher, and the reason I strive for excellence every day. Alongside family, responsibility guides how I operate both personally and professionally. Being accountable to my children, my 400-person team, and our clients ensures that I lead with integrity, stay grounded, and deliver on my promises in every area of my life.
