About Marigny
Marigny Hemenway is a music entrepreneur and vocalist based in New Orleans, Louisiana. Originally a singer who has performed in every genre and worked with Grammy Award-winning artists, she transitioned into the business side of the music industry after a high school internship with Live Nation through the Music Forward program. She studied music business and management at Berklee College of Music and participated in all available high school music education programs. In 2024, at age 24, she founded Hemenway Relations, a boutique music business and marketing consulting firm serving clients such as music festivals, conferences, and artists, with plans to expand into B2B services for entertainment law firms, music tech companies, and record labels. Hemenway is a member of the Recording Academy and its Grammy U program and is in the running for professional membership. Her notable achievements include working with French President Macron's Ministry of Arts and Culture on Fete de la Musique at the Presidential Palace, attending the Grammys twice, and contributing to French Quarter Fest, which drew nearly 900,000 attendees. She is currently learning French and Spanish and emphasizes values of loyalty, being a woman of her word, selflessness, and helping others in her work and personal life.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Be yourself and do what is right for you. Don't let people burst your bubble or tell you what to do. Take care of yourself and lend a helping hand to others.
02What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Loyalty is the first word that comes up. I'm definitely a woman of my word. I like to be selfless and help people.
