Marina Ten: Being an influential woman to me means being someone that others can look up to and also reach out to and just feel comfortable conversing with, um. Being like comfortable sharing your voice and just being able to um inspire others is honestly what it means to be an influential woman.

What's one piece of advice you would give to younger women chasing their dreams?

Marina Ten: A piece of advice I'd give younger women chasing their dreams is to not be intimidated by anything that they believe will prevent them from achieving their goals. So for instance, if you believe that you aren't fit to enter a space because of your gender or because of your race, um, I wouldn't let that be a barrier to you just because there has definitely have to be at least one person who has successfully made it past that barrier and is successful in their career. So I think just being able to find those role models and being able to ask them for advice, um, is definitely important if you're chasing your dreams. So don't give up.
