About Marisha
Marisha Parikh serves as a Product Manager at IBM, contributing to the development of IBM Concert, a security and observability tool designed to manage threats and mitigate vulnerabilities in an increasingly fast-paced digital landscape. With approximately four years of professional experience, she previously founded Year to Year, a nonprofit platform launched in 2020 amid the COVID-19 pandemic that enabled individuals to vent and seek support, ultimately serving around 7,500 customers until its closure in 2024. She also launched another business venture known as Saga AI. Her academic journey encompasses a bachelor's degree in computer applications earned in India, followed by a post-graduate qualification in information technology and a master's degree in engineering management from the University of Colorado Boulder. Marisha holds PMP and CAPM certifications, reflecting her expertise in project and product management. She takes particular pride in the meaningful impact created through her nonprofit work, where clients reported feeling lighter after sharing long-held traumas.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't be afraid to dream big. Never know what would shine upon you. Being present at the right time is sometimes enough. All you do is wake up and show up every day, no matter how difficult things go. I'm pretty sure things might turn in your way.
