About Marisol

My career journey has taken me through several industries before landing in IT and cybersecurity about 3 years ago. I started in the legal industry doing admin and executive assistant work, then spent about 4 years in events. All of that experience naturally led me to my current position as Director of Operations, where I've been for 3 years. In my role, I oversee multiple aspects of our business operations. Every morning I check in with our marketing team to review our social media content and make any last-minute changes, because times change really quickly and scheduled posts sometimes need to be adjusted. I get to the office around 10:30 after morning drop-off with my son, then go through emails and handle responsibilities like payroll. I also head our marketing and social media efforts in addition to directing our operations, approving marketing campaigns and reels. I try to keep my Mondays meeting-free and always make sure I don't have an email left unread at the end of the day. One of my most notable achievements was being a speaker on a women's panel about 2 years ago for a Women and Trial Lawyers conference, where I spoke about tech and what kinds of things law firms need. I flew down to Mexico for that conference and spent a few days there. My husband is kind of the face of our company with a big brand going on, so now it's time for me to step out a little bit more, especially as the kids start getting older and I'll have more time to focus on work.
