Her Interview
Ten minutes with Marissa
01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Find a good mentor early on who is willing to take you under their wing. Advocate for yourself, grind, keep learning, and never think you've reached the end of learning. Focus on serving your clients because they are the reason you are where you are.
02What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Faith is central, as we are very rooted in our faith and it spiderwebs out to the rest of our life. Hard work and sacrifice, as my husband and I are self-made and come from blue-collar backgrounds. Having a supportive spouse who supports each other's businesses and big goals.
