Based in Endicott, New York, she brings more than a decade of experience building and scaling marketing programs that connect customers to brands through thoughtful storytelling, data-driven campaigns, and integrated digital experiences. Known for her energetic leadership style, she focuses on strengthening both customer-facing platforms and internal collaboration, particularly with IT and operations teams.

Throughout her career, Marissa has developed a diverse and well-rounded marketing background spanning healthcare, financial services, and energy sectors. Prior to her current role, she served as Director of Marketing at GHS Federal Credit Union, where she led comprehensive marketing campaigns and advanced the organization’s digital customer experience. She also held marketing leadership roles at Bassett Healthcare Network, where she focused on brand development, web strategy, and communications, building a strong foundation in healthcare marketing and public engagement.

I attribute my success to following my dreams and goals, discovering and staying connected to my passion for the work I love, and maintaining a strong commitment to continuous learning and education. I also embrace challenges as opportunities for growth, which has helped me stay motivated and keep progressing in both my personal and professional life.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to create the change you want to see, stay open to trying new things, and maintain balance in your day-to-day work and life.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Feel confident-know your worth, don't be intimidated by others, there is nothing you can't do!

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

There are increasing opportunities for me to diversify and expand my knowledge in industry-specific marketing, as well as refine my skills in strategic planning in the rapidly evolving competitive landscape.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Being open and honest with others, leading by example, being proud of my accomplishments, always achieving and setting new goals.
