Over the years, Mariya held key leadership roles, including General Manager of multiple restaurant locations, Area Manager at Amazon, and Director at The Syn Group, gaining extensive experience that laid the foundation for her entrepreneurial journey.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the diverse experience and skills I have gained over the past 18 years in business management. Beginning in hospitality, I developed strong customer service and interpersonal skills that have stayed with me throughout my career. I have held leadership roles as a Warehouse Manager at Amazon and as a Director for The Syn Group, experiences that taught me operational excellence, team leadership, and strategic decision-making. Today, as the proud owner of a Go! Painting franchise serving commercial clients, I draw on all these experiences to run my business effectively. My excitement for this venture, combined with perseverance and a commitment to never giving up, has been instrumental in helping me reach this stage of my career.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is simple but powerful: always ask for what you want. Whether it’s a new opportunity, a raise, or guidance, speaking up and advocating for yourself opens doors that might otherwise remain closed. Learning to confidently express your goals and needs has been a key factor in my professional growth and success.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are balance, curiosity, and connection. I strive to approach my career with integrity and dedication, while also making time to explore the world through hiking, traveling, and spending time outdoors.
