Marjorie McDaniel

I am a pastor and chaplain with over two decades of experience in spiritual care, ministry leadership, and community service. I have served as Senior Pastor at Saint Luke Lutheran Church in Zanesville, Ohio, since January 2015, where I provide pastoral leadership, preaching, teaching, and spiritual guidance to the congregation while fostering a welcoming and mission-focused community of faith.

Alongside my pastoral role, I have served as a Chaplain at The Ohio State University Medical Center since August 1999, now for over twenty-six years. In this capacity, I provide compassionate spiritual care to patients, families, and staff during times of illness, crisis, and transition, offering comfort, presence, and support in a fast-paced medical environment.

Across my ministry and chaplaincy, my work has been driven by a deep commitment to serving others with compassion, integrity, and hope. Whether I am leading a congregation, walking with a family through a difficult diagnosis, or offering a word of encouragement to a staff member, I believe in the power of presence, prayer, and community to bring healing and strength to people in every season of life.
