Marlene Patton

Marlene Patton brings more than 26 years of experience to the commercial real estate industry. She began her career in a junior position handling accounts payable for a developer who shaped much of Washington, D.C., an experience that revealed to her the power of creating spaces where communities and industries can thrive. Over time she advanced through accounting roles, serving as a junior staff accountant, staff accountant, assistant controller, accounting manager, and controller, before expanding her focus to include development and acquisitions. In this capacity she gained insight into financing structures, investor involvement, and the full lifecycle of real estate assets. Patton remains deeply engaged with professional networks such as CREW, also known as Commercial Real Estate Women, and ULI, participating in mentoring programs that support younger members and new professionals. Outside her career she contributes to philanthropic efforts including So Others May Eat in Washington, D.C., Wounded Warriors, and the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. She holds honesty, integrity, and joy as her core values, believing that being true to oneself builds trust and allows one to live without regret.
