About Marni

Marni Gesinski serves as a Business Analyst and Project Manager at Ameristar Perimeter Security USA Inc., an ASSA ABLOY Group brand, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She brings more than seven years of experience in business analysis, information technology, systems implementation, and cross-functional project coordination. Her expertise includes IT applications, ERP-based reporting, user access management, troubleshooting, process improvement, and translating business requirements into practical technology solutions. In her current role, she supports access governance, coordinates projects across teams, and manages change requests to promote secure, efficient, and well-organized business operations. Gesinski’s career reflects a diverse and nontraditional professional journey. After initially pursuing music and piano performance, she gained experience across several industries, including manufacturing, shipping and receiving, training and development at a biotechnology company, and legal administration before returning to The University of Tulsa as a nontraditional student. She earned her BSBA in Computer Information Systems in 2018, completing her degree 17 years after beginning her original college journey. She went on to build a strong technology career at ONEOK, progressing through IT and business systems roles while working extensively with Oracle ERP, SplashBI, Spotfire, Account Reconciliation Cloud, and other financial applications. Her background also includes project implementation, reporting, system support, disaster recovery testing, and business process improvement. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Gesinski is passionate about mentorship, STEM, community engagement, and creating inclusive opportunities for others. She is a member of Women's International Network of Utility Professionals (WiNUP), where she has participated in the STEM Committee and attended the national conference. A Girl Scout Gold Award recipient, she has also served as a bilingual Girl Scout troop leader for seven years, conducting meetings in both English and Spanish. Fluent in Spanish and English, she brings a strong commitment to service and representation to both her professional and community endeavors. Her career journey reflects her belief that there is no single timeline for success and that every experience, including career changes and setbacks, can contribute to building a meaningful and successful future.
