About Mars
Mars Carrera serves as a production coordinator and project coordinator in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she has spent the past 8 years managing events, pop-ups, and shows. Her career began after earning a fashion and journalism degree, leading her to the role of head model coordinator for LA Fashion Week. She later pursued an MBA while taking on administrative and events work, including a position as marketing and events manager at an art gallery. Carrera coordinates production for large-scale events such as Hotel EDC and is preparing for EDC Orlando. She collaborates with Vegas Relevance on community events and volunteers for initiatives like the Just One project and upcoming water drives. In a previous role, she was recognized as top salesperson in Florida. Carrera emphasizes organization and interpersonal skills to handle the many moving parts and diverse personalities involved in event production.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Nobody has it figured out... you deserve to be here, you deserve to be doing what you want to do, and you are good enough
02What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
With so many people at big events, it's hard to be on track of everything... being able to deal with a bunch of different people and a bunch of different personalities
