A formerly incarcerated mother of eight, she has turned her lived experience of overcoming childhood trauma, domestic violence, addiction, and incarceration into a lifelong mission of helping others rebuild their lives. As the Founder and Executive Director of Amiracle4sure, Inc., established in 2010, she has dedicated more than two decades to supporting individuals and families impacted by incarceration, homelessness, addiction, and other barriers to stability across seven counties in Pennsylvania.

Drawing on both professional expertise and personal experience, Marsha leads comprehensive reentry and housing initiatives while supervising staff, cultivating community partnerships, securing grant funding, and collaborating with county officials to expand services. Her career has included roles as a family counselor, mental health therapist, and drug and alcohol counselor, giving her a broad understanding of the complex challenges individuals face during recovery and reintegration. She also serves as an Advisory Board Member for the Council of State Governments Justice Center, contributing her insights to justice reform and reentry initiatives at the national level. Her work emphasizes trauma-informed care, practical support, mentorship, and restoring hope for individuals seeking a fresh start.

Marsha holds an associate degree in Human Services, a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Lebanon Valley College, and a master's degree in Human Services/Public Service Leadership from Capella University. These academic achievements complement the lived experience that has become the cornerstone of her leadership philosophy. A gifted vocalist, mentor, and encourager, she remains deeply committed to serving her community with compassion, faith, and purpose. Through her advocacy, ministry, and nonprofit leadership, Marsha continues to champion healing, restoration, and opportunities for lasting change, demonstrating that lived experience can become one of the most powerful tools for transforming lives.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Marsha

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to resilience, faith, and my lived experience. Overcoming childhood trauma, domestic violence, addiction, and incarceration inspired me to pursue healing, earn my associate's, bachelor's, and master's degrees, and build a career in family, mental health, and addiction counseling. Today, I lead a nonprofit focused on reentry and housing services across seven counties, using both my professional expertise and personal journey to help others rebuild their lives.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I've ever received was to never let my past define my future. I chose to move forward despite the challenges I faced, refusing to let my circumstances determine who I could become. That mindset gave me the confidence to pursue my goals, and it has helped me build a successful and fulfilling professional career.

03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that matter most to me are faith, family, service, and balance. My faith is central to who I am, and I serve as a worship leader in the United Methodist Church. I also value spending time with my family, especially my grandchildren, and enjoy staying active through walking, traveling, and following sports, all of which help me maintain perspective and bring joy to my life.
