Martina Chen is a dynamic risk management professional with a passion for high-speed precision—both on the racetrack and in the boardroom. As an Enterprise Risk Manager at American Express, she brings deep expertise in strategic planning and enterprise risk, leveraging her background in communications and business marketing from UC San Diego and a Master’s in Enterprise Risk Management from Columbia University. Martina has a sharp analytical mind and a keen ability to manage risk across global operations, honed through diverse experience in banking, compliance, and third-party risk.

Outside of work, Martina is fueled by adrenaline and adventure. A devoted Formula One fan, she loves being at the racetrack and draws inspiration from the speed and strategy of motorsports. When she’s not tracking performance metrics or developing risk frameworks, she finds balance in nature—traveling to places like Sedona to reconnect with herself and find her Zen.
