What do you attribute your success to?
My success has been shaped by a combination of preparation, perspective, and people. The most valuable skill I’ve developed is the ability to recognize opportunity when it appears, and to be ready to act on it. Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to learn from leaders who believed in me, challenged me, and helped elevate my potential, and I don’t take that support lightly.
Today, I attribute my continued success to trusting myself, staying consistently curious, and remaining open to growth. Curiosity has pushed me to learn new systems, explore emerging technology, and continuously refine how I think and work. Believing in myself has allowed me to step into opportunities with confidence, even when the path wasn’t fully defined. Together, those qualities have helped me adapt, evolve, and build a career rooted in both purpose and progress.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received was to know my value, ask for what I’m worth, and never be afraid to negotiate. Early in my career, I was taught that confidence in your abilities isn’t arrogance—it’s self-respect. If you don’t advocate for yourself, you risk letting others define your worth for you.
I was also reminded that opportunities aren’t simply handed out—they’re created. You create them by raising your hand, asking questions, and stepping forward when others hesitate. That mindset reshaped how I approached my career. Instead of waiting to be invited into growth, I learned to position myself for it by being proactive, curious, and willing to take ownership before I had a formal title.
That advice has stayed with me at every stage of my journey. It’s helped me step into leadership roles, negotiate with clarity and confidence, and build a career rooted in both self-belief and continuous progress. Most importantly, it taught me that the most meaningful growth happens when you choose to show up fully and claim the space you’ve earned.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering digital marketing or operations is to take full advantage of free resources, training, and hands-on learning—and to ask as many questions as you can. Don’t shy away from advocating for better pay or bonuses just because it feels uncomfortable; men negotiate all the time, and we deserve to do the same.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
I believe the biggest challenges and opportunities in this field come from the rapid pace of change—especially with AI and new tools emerging constantly. While it can feel overwhelming, it also creates a rare moment where newer professionals can quickly catch up to more experienced marketers if they’re willing to learn, experiment, and adapt.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that matter most to me—both at work and at home—are growth, accountability, and genuinely improving people’s lives. I want my team to feel seen, supported, and rewarded, and I carry that same mindset into my personal life by being present for my family and modeling a strong work ethic for my son.
