As a visionary leader with deep roots in her hometown, Marty brings an extraordinary blend of marketing prowess, strategic insight, and community dedication to every role she undertakes.

Currently serving as both Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Commercial Banking Officer at STCU, Marty orchestrates a comprehensive strategy encompassing brand marketing, community relations, government affairs, and facilities, while skillfully directing commercial business development and Treasury Management teams.

Her remarkable journey includes a transformative tenure as president of the Downtown Spokane Partnership, where she catalyzed over $3 billion in urban reinvestment, breathing new life into the city's downtown district. Prior to her current role, Marty's expertise enriched Sterling Bank (now Umpqua Bank), and her impressive career spans leadership positions at telecommunications giants including NEXTLINK, XO Communications, Cellular One, and AT&T Wireless.

Marty's impact hasn't gone unnoticed. Her thought leadership and community influence have earned her numerous accolades, including recognition among Spokane's Top 20 Under 40 by The Inland Catalyst, multiple appearances on Spokane's Power 40 Most Influential People list (most recently in 2024), and the prestigious YWCA Woman of Achievement award in 2015. Her insightful American Banker op-ed, "Branding a Turnaround," was celebrated as one of the top 10 contributed articles in 2013.

A proud Washington State University graduate, Marty continues to shape the future of her community through her leadership roles. She serves as Past Chair of both the Washington State University Board of Regents and the Spokane Public Facilities District Board of Directors, while actively contributing as a State of Washington Regence/Blue Shield Foundation Board member and Co-Chair of LaunchNW.
