Clarity came from intentional family check-ins to reset priorities weekly and treating family time as non-negotiable on the calendar, not just something to hope to fit in.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Martyna

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the people around me—those who support, challenge, and inspire me every day. I’m grateful for the individuals who consistently add value to my life, both personally and professionally. Their guidance, collaboration, and belief in me have played a key role in shaping my journey.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to listen actively and never hesitate to ask questions. It’s through listening that we truly understand, and through asking that we continue to learn and grow.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the industry is to be bold and unapologetically yourself. Don’t be afraid to take up space, share your ideas, and trust your voice—you belong in every room you walk into.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges—and opportunities—in our field right now is navigating the sheer volume of both at the same time. The pace of change in healthcare design presents constant demands, but it also opens the door to innovation, creativity, and meaningful impact. Learning to balance and respond to both is where true growth happens.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me—both in my work and personal life—are people and design. I believe in surrounding myself with a supportive community and creating spaces that offer opportunity, connection, and purpose. When you’re uplifted by those around you and inspired by the environments you help shape, meaningful work naturally follows.
