About Mary Beth
Mary Beth Stroble is a senior flight nurse with nearly three decades of experience in nursing. She began her career as an adult nurse before moving into Pediatric ICU and working as a travel nurse. Upon returning to Charleston, South Carolina, she joined the flight team, where she has served for 20 years as the longest-tenured and senior nurse on the team. In this role, she manages 12- or 24-hour shifts involving equipment checks, chart QA, and transporting critical care patients including premature neonates, intubated patients, ECMO cases, respiratory patients, trauma's and cardiac patients via helicopter, ambulance, or fixed wing. Her hospital operates as a Level 4 NICU and state Heart Center. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania. Mary Beth has received Nurse of the Year honors within her department and serves on the trauma committee. Outside of work, she volunteers at her children's school on the parent committee and PTO.
