Her Interview

Ten minutes with Mary

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to Christ and my faith. From a young age, I have always strived to do my best, learn continuously, and be the kind of friend and person I would want in my life.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve received is to have a strong work ethic, treat others as I would want to be treated, and always be willing to help. Compassion, kindness, and a good bedside manner go a long way.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would encourage young women to stay focused on the work in front of them, continue learning and advancing their education, and build a career that creates a meaningful legacy they can be proud of.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The industry has changed significantly, with many qualified applicants competing for the same positions. The key opportunity is to develop unique strengths and qualities that help you stand out from the crowd.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I am a firm believer that you need to give 100%. Loyalties have changed in corporate America but that doesn't change me. I'm still gonna give 100%. Over 8 years and 10 months I took maybe 2 or 3 sick days.
