About Mary
She is a distinguished strategy, finance, and global health professional with a strong foundation in systems engineering and business strategy, currently serving as a Botha-Chan Innovation Fellow at Stanford University, where she is advancing innovation and leadership. Prior to this role, she served as Strategy & Finance at Bluebird Kids Health, and spent over three years at Bain & Company in progressively senior roles, including Consultant, Senior Associate Consultant, and Associate Consultant, where she developed deep expertise in strategic consulting and client engagement. Her global health experience includes serving as Global Assistive Technology Associate at the Clinton Health Access Initiative, supporting assistive technology access across eight countries, and as Kigali Teaching Hospital Project Lead at the University of Virginia Health System, where she built an AI platform that digitized 2,000 paper records and reduced postoperative mortality. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering with minors in Computer Science and Applied Math from the University of Virginia, where she was a Division 1 Cross Country and Track athlete and a Sky Alland Scholar. She is recognized as a strategic, analytical, and impact-driven leader who combines deep consulting and global health expertise with a passion for leveraging technology and innovation to improve lives.
