Liz Burns (She/Her) is a seasoned leader in international concert production and live event management, with 26 years of experience in the entertainment industry. She formerly served as Production Manager for Pearl Jam for 10 years and worked with the band in various roles for over 20 years. Known for her meticulous planning, integrity, and reliability, Liz has built a career creating seamless experiences for artists, crews, and audiences across the globe.
Throughout her career, Liz has focused on making large-scale shows run smoothly, including hiring and managing crews across lighting, audio, video, and carpentry departments, advancing shows with promoters, and ensuring regulatory compliance. She prioritizes the audience and artist experience while fostering a fair, inclusive work environment, guided by her values of being “firm but fair,” providing equal opportunities for team members to succeed, and ensuring “the show always comes first.” Her professional background includes roles such as tour manager, production coordinator, immigration lead, and production manager, working with artists and management firms including Curtis Management, Pearl Jam, Earth Wind & Fire, and Britt Floyd. She is celebrated as the first woman Production Manager at the level of Pearl Jam.
A Seattle University graduate (BA in Fine Arts, 1995), Liz balances her professional accomplishments with personal passions including painting, singing, and knitting. Beyond her career, she values time with family and exploring cultural offerings in her community.
