Her Interview
Ten minutes with Mary
01What do you attribute your success to?
I think I attribute my success these days to being really tenacious, refusing to give up, and to my family, my mom and my dad and my husband, Brad. I couldn't do this without them.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The comfort zone always feels good, but change will only ever happen outside of the comfort zone.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't take no for an answer, and don't give up.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Biggest challenges are how things fluctuate. As we grow, so does our technology, and learning to roll with those punches instead of just rolling over. Opportunities come through as long as you work hard and don't let adversity keep you down.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity, honesty, dedication, and probably resilience. Those are the big ones.
